Laminate Floor Underlayment Options:

Floor Muffler

    Polypropylene foam cushion underlayment with advanced cell technology is BETTER than it's competitors.  2 mm thick with a 2 mil. overlap system which exceeds moisture elimination requirements with a tape system to adhere both sections together.  STC rating of 73 & IIC ratings of 74 (for sound insulating and sound transmission).  

    CDI stocks 100 sq.ft. rolls and 600 sq.ft. "Jumbo" rolls. (no cuts offered)

Solid Walk LT

    Synthetic Fiber Pad underlayment that eliminates subfloor irregularites, including a 2 mil. moisture vapor barrier.  STC & IIC ratings of 54 & 58 (for sound insulating and sound transmission).  Overlap system to meet moisture elimination requirements with a tape system to adhere both sections together.  Composed of recycled materials.

    Recommended by Award Hardwood Flooring under their floors.
